18. EVTEKS FUARININ DEĞERLİ MİSAFİRİ, 

EVTEKS Contract Trend Forum 2013: "MOTION=HAREKET" ile size en yeni contract tekstil trendlerini sunmaktan gurur duyuyorum. Şu anda elinizde bulunan trend kitabı, size ilham vermek ve Türk contract tekstilindeki yeniliklere katkı sağlamak amacıyla hazırlanmıştır.

Bu trend kitabında tekstil dünyasının diline uyarlanmış ve görselleştirilmiş trendlere ilişkin bilgi verilmektedir. Amaç; müşterinizle aynı dili konuşabilmeniz ve markanızı daha büyütebilmeniz için koleksiyonlarınızı anlamlı bir şekilde oluşturma sırasında bu kitabı bir araç olarak kullanabilmenizdir.

Yarının dünyasına daha geniş bir bakış açısıyla bakma. 
Zeitgeist (zamanın ruhu) değişiyor. Zenginliğe refah, kasvete pozitif olma, bağımlılığa yetkilendirme ve açgözlülüğe idealler galip geliyor. Zorluklar olduğu kadar gelişme imkanları da sunan bir kriz modada, yaşam tarzında ve tekstil tasarımında taze, hafif ve havalı bir tarz ortaya çıkarıyor.

Krizin hayatımızı etkilemeye devam edeceği konusunda birçok insan artık hemfikir. Gerçeklerle yüzleşmek ve mevcut durumu kabul etmek günümüzün birçok zorluğuyla baş etmenin belki de en iyi yolu. Her şey gündelik yaşamımızda özel anları ve şeyleri takdir edip tadını çıkartmakla alakalı. Çevremize yeniden bağlanmak ve yeniden “bağı kopartmamak” demek.

“HAREKET.” Kumaşların hem duygusal tarafını, hem de teknik açıdan sunduğu olanakları ve estetiği vurgulayan bir kavram.

Bu yıl ikinci defa, Contract tekstil alanında faaliyet gösteren firmalarımızı ve bu sektörümüzün geldiği noktayı vurgulayacağız. Bu yıl Trend alanımız Suit otel odası şeklinde tasarlanmış olup,Trend alanında 2013 İlkbahar Yaz trendlerine yer verilecektir. 

Bilindiği üzere; Kontrat alanlarının tekstilleri ev tekstili gibi olmayıp, bu alanlarda daha nitelikli uygulamalar yapılmaktadır. Kontrat tekstillerinin geç tutuşur, leke tutmaz, anti bakteriyel gibi katma değerleri olmak zorundadır. Üstelik bu sektör sadece tekstiller ile de sınırlı değildir. İç donanımların mermer, granit, endüstriyel mutfak ürünleri, vs. gibi malzemelerin de aynı şekilde en modern ürünler olması gerekmektedir.

Contract tekstil sektöründe, ev dışındaki büyük projelerin donanımları genel olarak kontrat yapılarak bir yükleniciye verilmekte, proje tasarlanmakta ve kontratı alan kişi ya da kuruluş tarafından uygulanmaktadır. Bu yüzden otel, restoran, okul, hastane, nakil vasıtaları, yat, köşk, yurt, büyük işyerleri, resmi kurumlar gibi yüzlerce ticari olan veya olmayan binalar kontrat alanlarıdır. Bu alanların iç tefrişatı konusunu işlemek üzere Uludağ Tekstil İhracatçıları Birliği (UTIB) tarafından, CONTRACT BUSINESS adında bir dergi çıkarılmaktadır.

Türkiye'nin ilk kontrat dergisi olan CONTRACT BUSINESS dört ayda bir Uludağ Tekstil İhracatçıları Birliği tarafından yayınlanmakta ve http://www.turkishcontracttextile.org/cb_eylul.pdf ve http://www.dijimecmua.com/contract-business/ web sayfalarından takip edilebilmektedir. Uludağ Tekstil İhracatçıları Birliği kontrat sektöründe hem yurt içinde hem de yurt dışında var olan potansiyelin maksimum düzeyde değerlendirilmesi için, Contract Business Dergisi'ni çıkarmakta olup, anılan dergi tekstil, mutfak, doğal taş, tasarım, mimari, fuarlar ve dış pazarlar konularında zengin bir içerikle çıkarılmaktadır. Sektörün yoğun olarak bulunduğu fuarlarda dağıtılan dergi yurt içinde ve yurt dışında ilgiyle takip edilmektedir.

Bu bağlamda Trend Forum’un ve bu kitabın; Türk contract tekstili sektörünün gelmiş olduğu düzeyin tüm sektör mensupları ve dünyadaki alıcılarımız tarafından daha iyi algılanmasına katkı sağlayacağını düşünüyorum. 

Ayrıca yine bu yıl ikinci defa, Uluslararası pazarlarda moda ve trend yaratabilecek Türkiye Ev Tekstili özgün tasarımlarını ortaya çıkarmak ve teşvik etmek, sektörün rekabet gücünü arttırmak, Ev Tekstili sektöründe yenilikçi ve özgün tasarımcı kimliğinin güçlenmesine yardımcı olmak, Sektörel motivasyon, işbirliği ve dayanışmaya katkıda bulunmak amacı ile Ev tekstili Tasarım Yarışması düzenliyoruz ve yarışmayı kazanan tasarımcıların ürün ve tasarımlarına Trend alanında yer vereceğiz. 

Mükemmellik konusundaki bağlılıklarını ve inovasyona olan yaklaşımlarını ortaya koyan tüm fuar katılımcılarına, aynı zamanda ev tekstili sektörüne ve temsilcisi TETSİAD’a ve bu girişimdeki ortaklarımız olan ITF-İstanbul Fuarcılık ile Lobster Concepts’e içten teşekkürlerimizi sunarım.

DEAR VISITOR TO THE EVTEKS 18th ISTANBUL HOME TEXTILES EXHIBITION, 

I am proud to introduce you to the latest contract textile trends via the book EVTEKS Contract Trend Forum 2013: "MOTION.” The trend book you are currently holding in your hand was prepared in order to give you inspiration and to contribute to the innovations in the Turkish contract textile industry. 

This textile book provides information regarding the trends that are adapted and visualized according to the language of the textiles. The aim behind this book is to provide you a tool which you can utilize during preparing your collections in an appealing manner in order to speak the same language with your customers and further expand your brand. 

Looking to tomorrow’s world from a broader perspective.
Zeitgeist changes. Welfare prevails over richness, being positive over melancholy, empowerment over dependency, and ideals over greediness. A crisis, which not only poses difficulties but also offers development possibilities, creates a fresh, light and posh style both in life and textile design. 

Many people now agree that the crisis will continue to affect our lives. Facing the reality and accepting the existing situation is perhaps the best way to deal with the difficulties of the day. What matters is to appreciate and enjoy the special moments of our everyday life. What is meaningful is to reconnect with the world and “not to break that connection.” 

“MOTION”: It is a concept which emphasizes both the emotional side of the fabrics and the possibilities fabrics can technically provide. 

This year, we are going to put special emphasis for the second time on the companies which are active in the Contract textile business and also on the phase the sector has reached. The trend area this year was designed like a Suite room of a hotel. 2013 Spring and Summer trends will be exhibited in the Trend Area.

As is known, textiles used in the Contract textile business are different from the textiles used in Home textile business. Furthermore, applications of higher quality are delivered in the Contract textile business. Contract textiles should have value added properties such as high resistance to flammability, stain resistance and antibacteriality. Furthermore, the contract textile sector is not limited to textiles only. Other interior equipments and materials such as marbles, granites and industrial kitchen equipment should also be state-of-the-art. 

Equipments in the bigger projects other than house projects in the Contract textile industry are usually contracted to a contractor. Projects are designed and applied by the contractor person or company. Therefore hundreds of commercial and non-commercial buildings and means of transport such as hotels, restaurants, schools, hospitals, yachts, mansions, dormitories, big office premises and official buildings are contract locations. A magazine called CONTRACT BUSINESS is published by Uludag Textile Exporters’ Union (UTIB) in order to treat the issue of interior furnishings of such locations. 

CONTRACT BUSINESS, the first contract textile business magazine of Turkey, is published every four months by Uludag Exporters Union (UTIB) and can be followed by visiting the links http://www.turkishcontracttextile.org/cb_eylul.pdf and http://www.dijimecmua.com/contract-business/ web. Uludag Textile Exporters’ Union publishes Contract Business Journal in order to exploit the existing domestic and international potential in the contract business to the maximum. The mentioned journal covers a wide range of areas such as textiles, kitchen, natural stone, design, architecture, fairs and foreign markets. The journal, which is distributed in the fairs which draw great attention in the sector, is followed keenly by both domestic and international readers.

In this context, I believe that the Trend Forum and this book will contribute to better perception by all sector members and importers worldwide of the level the Turkish contract textile business has reached.

Furthermore, the Home Textile Design Competition will be organized for the second time this year in order to reveal and encourage original designs of Turkish Home Textile which have the potential of creating fashion and trends in the international markets, increase competitive power of the sector, contribute to the empowerment of the innovative and original designer identity in the Home Textile sector, and increase motivation, cooperation and solidarity in the sector. Products and designs of the winning designers will be exhibited in the Trend Area.
